International Youth Day Celebrated by Students at IIT Guwahati

On International Youth Day, the Youth Empowerment Club (YEC) hosted an interactive evening. The event brought together students from across batches for an evening centered around engagement, dialogue, and leadership.

Marking International Youth Day on 12th August, 2026, the Youth Empowerment Club (YEC) hosted an interactive on-ground evening at the New SAC Foyer. The event brought together students from across batches for an evening centered around empowerment, self-expression, and future aspirations.  

The setup featured high-spirited crowd games, interactive discussions prompting students to reflect on their ambitions, and an open-mic public speaking segment for voicing perspectives on youth-driven change.

The evening concluded with the official winner announcement and award ceremony for the AWAAZ Reel Making Competition.
